Built by hunters. Tested on cold mornings.
StalkMaster was started by a small group of hunters from northern Italy and Sicily. Between the Alpine ridges, where it can drop to -15 °C (5 °F) at dawn, and the scrub-covered hills of Sicily, we kept running into the same problem: you sweat on the walk in, then you freeze on the sit.
The gear that solved it was either too thin to keep the cold out or priced like a second rifle scope. And the big brands have no reason to make one complete set like this: they would rather sell you four or five separate pieces to put together. So we built our own.
What we set out to make
- Warm where it counts. Thick fleece in the jacket and the trousers, not just the top half.
- Dry from both sides. A 3-layer shell: a softshell outer that sheds rain and blocks wind, a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane, and the fleece lining. Sweat vapour from the walk in can escape, so you don't end up sitting in your own damp.
- Built to last a season, then the next one. Reinforced elbows, metal zips and 6 zip pockets.
- Premium quality at a price every hunter can reach. One complete set, not three separate purchases.
Made to last, then passed on
Worn day in, day out, a set lasts around ten years on average. Whoever buys one usually comes back for a second, for a son, a father or a friend, and plenty of them wear it for everyday cold, not only for hunting.
Our promise
