CAMO HIDES YOU FROM EVERYONE.
Why orange?
Your camo is built to disappear, and it does, for the buck and for the hunter on the next ridge. That’s why most states make you wear blaze orange during firearm season, usually between 144 and 500 square inches above the waist, often with an orange hat.
New York’s DEC puts it simply: “Hunters who wear hunter orange are seven times less likely to be shot.”
And your camo still works on the deer: research on deer vision suggests they see blaze orange as a dull tone, not the bright colour we see.
Camo for the deer. Orange for the people.
Why not the $10 one?

Frequently Asked Questions
Most states require blaze orange during firearm seasons, but the amount (often 144–500 square inches above the waist), the need for a hat and whether camo or mesh orange counts all vary by state. Wear the vest with an orange hat and always check your state wildlife agency’s current rules.
Choose by chest first, then height and weight. It’s worn over your hunting clothing, so if you’re between sizes, size up. Sizes S–7XL.
Many states don’t require orange in archery-only seasons, but some do when a firearm season overlaps. Check your state’s rules.
